Dean Grimes, Erika Grimes and John Dixon have been friends for over 20 years. All three are stunt professionals for the film and television industries and share a love and passion for giving back. Together they formed Chip In Inc to raise as much money as possible to help those in need.
DEAN GRIMES
Dean Grimes started his stunt career as a High Diver right here at Six Flags Over Georgia back in 1989. An accompished Stunt Coordinator and Stuntman he has spent the last couple years Coordinating "Lodge 49", and spent 7 years doubling Jeffrey Donovan on the USA network show "Burn Notice".
"I have a passion for giving and for golf. The stunt community has always been a place to enjoy both. I am looking forward to us all golfing together and giving all we can to a great cause. I'm hoping none of us will need to use the Taurus World Stunt Awards Foundation.
We now have a great chance to contribute to those that may."
JOHN DIXON
John Dixon is a working Stunt Coordinator and Stuntman and a member of
"The Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures". With over 35 years in the business he feels fortunate to still make a living at the only job he has ever wanted. As the founder of Stuntphone and The Stunt Phone Book, he has been serving and giving back to the industry he loves for over 20 years.
" I'm super excited to be part of this amazing event. "The Taurus World Stunt Awards Foundation" is a Charity the I have been involved in for a long time. I believe that the industry that receives from such an awesome entity like "The Taurus World Stunt Awards Foundation" should find ways to give back.
ERIKA GRIMES
Erika Grimes was a gymnasts growing up and after attending University of Florida she moved to Orlando. She worked for the Theme Parks as well as for the Orlando Predators the arena pro football team. She met her husband while working at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and from there transitioned into the Film and TV biz…She currently enjoys giving to others, performing in stunts and taking care of her family - Dean and their 2 wonderful children. She has been hosting the Taurus 2 Man event from its beginning and looks forward to many years to come~
Mission
Chip In Inc is a non profit 501 c3
organization that hosts several events per year to unite people, create happiness and brotherhood, and most imprtantly raise money to benefit those in need.
Event
The popular Taurus 2 Man Charity Golf event benefits the World Taurus Stunt Foundation. This organization helps injured stunt men and women who have been injured on the job and are no longer able to work.
